The June 2013 release of Balvenie 's Tun 1401, batch 8 is for the UK, European and Australasian markets. Named for Malt Master David Stewart's favourite marrying vat, it's a very limited edition vatting of 9 American Oak and 3 European Oak casks, with an outturn of just 2700 bottles.
