Nose: Gentle notes of dates and blackcurrants, dark chocolate fondant and fresh black peppercorns.
Palate: Sun dried raisins and golden sultanas, a dusting of cocoa, hints of walnut loaf and delicate oak.
These bottles, part of batch three in the distillery's Rare Cask series, have been filled from a single Pedro Ximénez puncheon that was discovered in Glenglassaugh's coastal warehouses by its new owners.
