Description
This whisky has been aged initially in American oak barrels, before a finishing period in Pedro Ximénez casks that have previously held the sherry for other 30 years.
The result is a well balanced dram, packed with notes of vanilla, toffee, cinnamon and cream from the Bourbon barrel, classic Jura notes of oily peat, cracked pepper and sea spray, alongside some delicious dried fruit, sweet wine, tannins and oak flavours provided by the PX cask.
