Nerello Mascalese and the Etna area match perfectly: the soil and vine form a unique blend, which at Torre Mora is called Scalunera. Scalunera translates to "the dark stairs" which are the terraces of the vineyards where it originates.

Tasting Notes: Pale almost salmon like color, typical of Nerello Mascalese grapes. Expressive nose of small red fruits with delicate notes reminding of ripe peaches and passion fruit. Fresh palate, exposing good structure, well balanced. Mineral and sapid finish. A foodie wine, it goes wonderfully with seafood, fish, grilled or with pasta, prosciutto with melons. Enjoy at 12°C.
